3CX setup for your property
Two things in 3CX: a trunk and an outbound rule. Then dial 9998.
1. Add the trunk
3CX → Voice & Chat → Add Trunk → Generic (Support by Provider) → Generic VoIP Provider (Registration).
| Name | TataVoice AI |
| Main Trunk Number | 9998 ← this becomes the number you dial |
| Authentication ID | — |
| Authentication password | — |
| Registrar / Server | — |
| Port | 5060 |
| Default route | Any user (3CX requires one — it's never used) |
| Everything else | Leave as-is |
Save → the trunk shows Registered (green) within a minute.
2. Add the outbound rule
3CX → Outbound Rules → Add:
| Rule name | TataVoice |
| Calls to numbers starting with prefix | 9998 |
| Route 1 | TataVoice AI (the trunk from step 1) |
| Everything else | Leave as-is |
3. Dial 9998
From any internal phone. Your AI agent answers. Calls appear under Recent calls.
Not connecting? If another outbound rule also matches this number, it wins — 3CX runs rules in creation order. Restrict that rule (e.g. set "Calls to numbers with a length of" to 8-15 on rules meant for real phone numbers).
IVR option: to offer the AI on your main line ("press 2 for the assistant"), point that IVR option at your dial number.
Second property on the same 3CX? Add a second trunk with that property's credentials (open its tab on the dashboard) and a different number, e.g. 9997 — plus its own outbound rule.
